BiographyHistory

Victoria Haskins attended Ku-Ring-Gai High School and then the University of Sydney. She was operating a travelling bookshop on the north coast of New South Wales when she uncovered the papers on which her first book, One Bright Spot, is based.

Haskins has worked as a curator of Australian Social History at the National Museum of Australia, in Canberra, before becoming Lecturer in History at Flinders University in South Australia.
