BiographyHistory

Fuerst is a microbiologist and academic whose interests include the history and philosophy of science and the relationships between science and the arts. He also plays the classical clarinet and makes woodcut prints. Fuerst has published poetry in a number of newspapers and magazines, including the Australian, Nation Review, Westerly, Image, the Border Issue and Poet's Choice 1977.
