BiographyHistory

An occasional author, J.B. Mummery worked as a chemist, and contributed verses to local newspapers and dramatic pieces to local entertainments. He seems to have enjoyed some success, with at least one play, Fortune's Wheel, playing in the Standard (Sydney) and across suburban theatres. He also published short fiction in the Australian Journal and at least one standalone work, the novella Adventures in the Australian Bush.
