BiographyHistory

George Jaboor's company was primarily a publishers' representative - its principals included Dent, Hamish Hamilton, Cambridge University Press and Geoffrey Bles. With the outbreak of World War II and the disruptions to paper supplies and shipping, George Jaboor took over the publication of Australian editions of many works by these publishers. In 1943, with his staff member Ted Harris, Jaboor founded Georgian House.
