BiographyHistory

Born in England, George Musgrove came to Victoria at the age of twelve. He worked for W.S. Lyster and, in 1880, had his first success, with Offenbach's Tambour Major at the Melbourne Opera House. In 1882, he entered a partnership with Arthur Garner and J.C. Williamson and, with one interruption, continued to work as Williamson's partner until 1899. He produced further shows until 1914.
