BiographyHistory

A now defunct South Australian online book store and ebook publisher, Jacobyte Books was based in the Adelaide suburb of Mitchem. The company, which was established in November 1999, described itself as 'a non-subsidy publishing house, not a vanity press or self-publishing site.' It paid royalties to authors of 40% for digital formats and 10% for paperbacks. Jacobyte Books genre list included mainstream, romance, history, horror and humour. The company's last known publications were released in 2004.
