BiographyHistory

Matthew Haltiner 'is a child of a mixed marriage.' His father was born in Zurich, Switzerland and his mother was born in Pinjarra, Western Australia. Having a white father 'opened up many doors' for Haltiner and his siblings. He 'has visited most of the capital cities in Australia and many places in between.' Haltiner feels that he has 'enjoyed the best of both worlds, being part Nyoongar and part Swiss." Source: Those Who Remain Will Always Remember (2000)
