BiographyHistory

Judy Pascoe was educated in Australia and has worked with Circus Oz as an acrobat, touring Australia and overseas. She moved to the Cotswolds in the UK, and worked in stand-up comedy on the UK comedy circuit, and as a television presenter, a scriptwriter, and a script doctor. Pascoe has also worked there as an actor in television and film, notably in Red Dwarf (1991) and Hour of the Pig (1993) and in stage musicals such as Club Monkey (1987). She has also written for television series such as Satellite Wars: Episode 1 'Dreaming in French' which aired in 1995. With British Web Broadcasting, she has written, produced and starred in the Zorg childrens comedy series about Madam Zorg (medium to the Aliens) which included an episode located in Australia - 'Zorg in Oz'. In Pascoe won the inaugural 2003 Youngminds Award for children's literature in Britain for Our Father Who Art in the Tree (2002).
