BiographyHistory

The Blanvalet publishing house was established in Berlin by Lothar Blanvalet between 1934 and 1935. Since 1974 the publishing house has belonged to the Bertelsmann media group of publishing house (now owned by Random House) in Munich. Blanvalet has for many years published the work of well-known German and non-German authors.
