Bron Nicholls worked as a teacher of art and taught dance and drama at a community school, taught migrant English, and tutored at TAFE. Among other occupations she has also been a set painter and Director of a children's theatre. She has written television scripts for the school science series Infinity, and has written and directed plays for schools and theatres. Since 1975 she has been a full-time writer.
