BiographyHistory

Copyright Agency is a not-for-profit organisation that provides advice on copyright-protected words and images, on behalf of Australian creators. A group of volunteers campaigned for financial recognition for Australian creators, including Thomas KeneallyPeter CareyJudith WrightFrank MoorhouseG. C. O'Donnell, Peter Banki and David Catterns, leading to the establishment of Copyright Agency in 1974.

Copyright Agency manages The Cultural Fund grants, as well as a series of Fellowships, including Publisher Fellowships, Author Fellowships and more.
