Lemon has been lauded for an extensive range of work, on the stage, screen and television. An AFI and Australian Film Critics' winner (Best Actress) for her portrayal of the title role in Jane Campion's Sweetie and a Green Room award nominee for Steaming, Lemon has regularly featured as a performer in Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland Theatre Company productions (Hanging Man, Summer of The Seventeenth Doll, Brilliant Lies); is a renowned writer and cabaret star (Three Men and a Baby Grand; Lone Star Lemon ) and is known internationally for her film and television work: The Piano; Holy Smoke; Neighbours, Prisoner, Always Greener.
