Allison Blight 'worked in publishing in London and sailed to the Caribbean where she continued writing, editing and sailing. Allison now lives in the mid-north of South Australia with her husband and three children' (Painted Words (1999) p 161). In 1999 she was a postgraduate student in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide.
