BiographyHistory

Valerio Borghese worked for some time as a journalist and a writer in Italy. After migrating to Australia, he found employment initially with the Victorian railways and later with Australia Post. Although he participated actively in the Italo-Australian intellectual life of Melbourne and obtained an Arts degree in 1975, he preferred to remain with Australia Post as a mail officer and to teach Italian on a part-time basis.
