BiographyHistory

Van Den Eynden also wrote and published A Marathon Achievement (1996) about her experiences at the stately home 'Marathon' which was used as a school by the Spastic Society of Victoria. It was demolished in 1979 and she included a history of previous owners and occupiers. This work has not been located. Van Den Eynden, an activist in encouraging persons with disability to experience life to the fullest, has given talks and written about her life experiences in magazines such as Horizon: The Official Newsletter of the Spastic Society of Victoria.
