BiographyHistory

Huxley has been a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and author, and has illustrated numerous picture books. She holds a diploma in Design and Craft from the National Art School, East Sydney and has taught visual arts and graphic design. After working for ABC Television children's programs, Huxley ventured into children's picture books with Tiffany's Own Story dedicated to her first child.

The Oxford Companion to Australian Children's Literature asserts that 'Huxley's large watercolours, often extending across a double page, are delicate and arresting'.
