BiographyHistory

Vivien Cain was educated at Mildura High School and at the University of Melbourne. Following her second marriage she moved to SA from Mornington Peninsula, to live at Aldinga Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula. She was one of the founding members of the Country and City Women Writers in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She describes herself as 'Self employed: Community Art Teacher'. As well as her printed work she has also produced an audio cassette of her poetry, 'More by Blood than Ear' (Tantrum Press, 1991).
