BiographyHistory

Carolyn Logan grew up in Humboldt, Iowa, USA. She subsequently taught art in Hawaii, San Francisco, Denmark and Peru before moving to Fremantle, Western Australia where she received her Masters Degree in Creative Writing. Logan's short fiction and poetry has been published in numerous journals and anthologies, and she has written novels for children and young adults and has also written for stage and radio. Logan has worked additionally as a librarian and editor and during 1984 - 1985 she was a state judge for the Children's Book Council of Australia.

Logan's personal papers and manuscripts are held by the Library Board of Western Australia.
