BiographyHistory

Meekison completed a doctorate in anthropology at Oxford University with the thesis 'Playing the Games : Indigenous Performance in Australia's Festival of Dreaming (BL)' (1999). She published articles, essays and fiction, becoming a freelance writer in London. In 2005 Meekison worked as an anthropologist and freelance consultant in Canada.
