BiographyHistory

Frank B. Bryning began writing in the 1930s following a strong dislike of his career as a salesman. He became a prolific writer of short stories, especially science fiction, during the 1940s and wrote a number of science fiction stories which interwove Aboriginal culture.

An editorial note accompaying his story, 'Miracle in the Molluccas', in Fantastic Universe compares Bryning to Heinlein and Bradbury and goes on to express the publication's pride at introducing him to the American audience.
