BiographyHistory

Born in Bologna, Italy, around 1927, Valli arrived in Australia in 1967. The wife of the then Italian consul in Brisbane, she left Australia in 1972. She had already written four novels and a book of poetry before she arrived, and continued to write on her return to Italy, including some of her Australian poems in later anthologies.
