BiographyHistory

Peta Seymour was born in Brisbane in November 1941. In the 1960s she spent some time in France, working as an au pair to complete her French language studies, and then worked in London as a bi-lingual secretary. Back in Brisbane, she took an interest in working with and encouraging writers for whom English is a second language, and she became the President of the Queensland Multicultural Writers Association.
