BiographyHistory

Known as 'Nev', Ann Neville Goyder Joske shared the pseudonym 'Margot Neville' with her sister, Margot Goyder (q.v.). She was married to Jerrold Joske but the marriage did not last, and between 1922 and 1966 she worked closely with her sister Margot Goyder to write works of mystery, detection and romance.

  • The November 1932 issue of The Home includes the following reference: 'Mrs Ann Neville, her sister, Mrs Margot Goyder, and Mr Gerald Kirby' are 'delighted at the acceptance by Mr Owen Nares and Miss Fay Compton of their play, "Once a Husband", which...is to be produced at the Haymarket.
