BiographyHistory

Jessica Scotford developed her love of literature and history under the influence of her parents, the Australian historical novelists E. V. Timms and Alma Timms (qq.v.). She has taught English and History and in 1979 was elected vice-president of the International Council of Women. Scotford has also been the Executive Director of the Cultural Council of the City of Sydney. In 1979 she published Today's Child : The World's Future.
