BiographyHistory

Stephen Scourfield is a professional, fulltime writer and photographer, and magazine and book editor. Prior to his migration to Western Australia in 1985, he was a Fleet Street journalist and editor. Scourfield was the travel editor of The West Australian and was the 2003 winner of the MEAA AJA Travel Report Prize for an article which gave a special insight into South African townships. He is the recipient of an international United Nations Peace Award for his media work on multiculturalism.
