BiographyHistory

Edwin Thumboo is a Singaporean poet and academic. His poem Ulysses by the Merlion is considered to be a major work of Singaporean literature. During 1993 he was a visiting fellow at the Australian Defence Force Academy, Canberra. He has been an Emeritus Professor at the National University of Singapore.
