BiographyHistory

George Cazouris attended Averofio High School in Alexandria and, after completing his studies, had several jobs in Alexandria and later in Athens. In Australia, he first began to write in 1972 for the Sydney newspaper Panellinios Kirykas. He has also published in other Greek language newspapers in Australia, such as To Ethniko Vema and in periodicals such as To Yofiri, Tachydromos and Chroniko. He has acted in plays produced in the Greek community in Sydney, and given public lectures on literature and other subjects. He has served also as president of the Hellenic Writers' and Artists' Association of Australia.
