BiographyHistory

Peta Crake is the author of fantasy romance who loves creating magical, new worlds. She grew up in a small town on the south-west coast of Australia. Surrounded by 'crystal blue oceans, towering karri trees and thick bush, it wasn't difficult,' says Crake, 'to imagine fantastical worlds full of magical creatures and mythical beasts.'

Crake was a Japanese language major and has studied ikebana (Japanese flower arranging). It was on a train travelling to work in Japan that she had her first shot of inspiration and became hooked on writing. She lives in WA. (2013)
