BiographyHistory

Jorge Oprea De Trache came to Australia as a refugee in 1980. He was incarcerated as a political prisoner in Romania from 1958 to 1962 and again from 1970 to 1974. He writes 'to resolve the turmoil of his past.' [From Many Voices, Geelong: MAG Literature, 1995, p. 61]
