BiographyHistory

Elder Jimmy Manngayarri had used 'sand drawings to teach himself about how colonial events were explained within Gurindji Traditions.' (Bradford, Unsettling Narratives: Postcolonial Readings of Children’s Literature, 2007:98). Many of the narratives related to Jurntakal (Rainbow serpent).
