BiographyHistory

Kurt von Trojan, also a speaker of German, worked as a journalist with Reuters and the German News Service from 1961 to 1970, followed by a year at the London Film School. He was a member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers (FAW) and won several awards including an Ian Reed Award and the 1988 Pater Bicentennial World Broadcasting Award for his radio play, Mars in Scorpio. He read his work on Radio EBI FM (Adelaide) and at the South Australian Writers Centre. Kurt Von Trojan died of cancer at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
