BiographyHistory

The son of Maggie Napurrurla Poulson, Neville Japangardi is an artist and Story Teller from Pikilyi country. He has lived in Yuendumu in Central Northern Territory, where he is an important figure in both Aboriginal ceremonial life and the Christian community.

Neville Japangardi has taught in a variety of communities throughout the Northern Territory of Australia. He has been involved as a gallery coordinator with the Warlukurlangu Aboriginal Artists Corporation at Yuendumu and worked as a ranger in the Tanami Desert area.
