BiographyHistory

Dan McGuiness grew up in Flagstaff Hill south of Adelaide, in South Australia. After completing Year 12 Dan worked for the next four years in a factory. He left to start up a skateboard company. He completed a Diploma in Interactive Media and a Certificate 4 in Screen. He worked on some feature films and produced three successful skateboard videos. He has also worked as a wedding video editor as well as shooting and editing videos for local bands. McGuiness’ interest in comics started when he got a job with a local comic shop. He has exhibited his work in a number of exhibitions and now he creates children’s books.
