BiographyHistory

The search engine Google was founded by Stanford University students Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google's mission is to 'organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful'. The company's name is a play on the mathematical term 'googol' - a 1 followed by 100 zeros.
