BiographyHistory

 Alison Carroll lives and works at Ernabella. She has five children and is a trained health worker. Milyika enjoys travelling to other countries in her capacity as a working artist. Her distinctive mark making draws from her own view of the world. Milyika's walka (designs) reflects her identity as a contemporary and senior Pitjantjatjara woman. She was Anangu Mayatja (Manager) at Ernabella Arts 2004 - 2007, Chairperson of Ananguku Arts and Culture Aboriginal Corporation (Ku Arts) 2004 - 2006, and is Director of Ananguku Arts. Alison was Chairperson of Ernabella Arts from 2007-2010. Milyika is a strong leader and excellent spokesperson for Anangu Pitjanjatjara artists.
