BiographyHistory

Filmmaker. Born in New Zealand, Jonathan Ogilvie worked in London in the 1980s, including time on the crew of such films as Full Metal Jacket. He graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in 1990, and was a lecturer in directing and screenwriting at the AFTRS from 2009 to 2014.

In 2018, he was awarded a PhD from Macquarie University, for a dissertation that included his screenplay Lone Wolf.
