BiographyHistory

Writer, theatre director, teacher and community arts facilitator, Kiraly arrived in Yass, New South Wales, from Arkansas, USA, in 1973 in response to a newspaper advertisement looking for teachers in Australia. After 18 months in Yass she moved to Canberra, where she worked as a teacher of English and drama, freelance theatre director and in community arts. Kiraly returned to the United States at the end of 2008.
