BiographyHistory

Spyridon Organtzidis was born in Xanthi of Thrace, Greece, in 1949. In 1968, he arrived in Salonica to continue with his studies. In 1971, he published his first collection of poetry titled 'Idees'. He is married with five children. He was anointed as a priest in 1980 and he has served at the Cathedral of Xanthi until 1990. In 1990, he arrived in Australia. He has published poetry in various periodicals and newspapers.
