Lynne Stringer edited a small newspaper (later magazine) for seven years before turning to freelance editing and proofreading. She wrote the Young Adult (YA) sci-fi romance novel, The Heir, in 2010. The first book in the Verindon trilogy it has now been joined by The Crown and The Reign. She has since published Once Confronted, a YA contemporary drama.
