Price Fletcher was a popular 19th century Australian naturalist and ornithologist. He came to Australia when his father was appointed to the Congregational Church at St Kilda, in Melbourne, and he later travelled widely in central and eastern Australia. At one point he had a sugar plantation in Mackay, Queensland, and for a number of years he edited the agricultural section of the Queenslander. However he was perhaps best known for the nature study column and occasional articles which he wrote for the Queenslander under the writing name 'Bush Naturalist'.

His publications include Hints to Immigrants : a Practical Essay upon Bushlife in Queensland (1886) and A Popular Sketch of the Natural History of Queensland (1886). He was the father of Jane Ada Fletcher (q.v.).
