BiographyHistory

Zarah Ghahramani was gaoled in Tehran for twenty-nine days for campaigning for women's rights. A chance meeting, after her release, with Australian author Robert Hillman (q.v.) eventually led to her leaving Iran for Australia on a student visa. Ghahramani was subsequently granted pemanent residency status in Australia.
