Reynolds has lived and worked in a number of countries, including Australia, the United States, Scotland , and France, and most recently Italy, where he has lived in Rome for several years. His first collection of stories, a collaboration with American artist Troy Henricksen, was titled Sunday Special and published in 2002. His stories have appeared regularly in several Italian journals, as well as in the international literary journal STORIE - All Write published in Rome. He was also the founder of the international literature festival, Embrio Live Literature, held every year in Rome.
