BiographyHistory

Script writer and script editor.

Greenberg, like many other Australian script-writers, began his work for television with Crawford Productions' long-running serials, including Prisoner. He soon came, however, to work specifically on children's television. His long period of involvment with the Australian Children's Television Foundation includes work on Legacy of the Silver Shadow, Lift Off (including assisting Chris Neal and Chris Anastassiades in the song-writing for Lift Off Live), and Sky Trackers. He has also worked with Jonathan M. Shiff Productions, most notably for Horace and Tina.

Greenberg's most recent scripts have been for live-action science-fiction drama Stormworld and animated children's fantasy series The Woodlies (based on American-based novelist Cornelia Funke's work).

Greenberg is an experienced script assessor (having assessed scripts for every state funding authority, as well as working in-house for Film Victoria), script editor (for example, for Sky Trackers), and script producer (for example, for animated children's programs Dogstar and Pixel Pinkie). He also teaches screenwriting at RMIT.
