BiographyHistory

Leigh Maynard was born in Launceston, Tasmania and grew up in a close Aboriginal community. Both his parents came from Cape Barren Island off the north-east coast of Tasmania and are descendants of the Trawoolway women, stolen from their country to be sealers.
