Austlit

Val, who is the mother of 4 children, grew up in the country, and trained and worked as an art teacher. She lectured in TAFE in the late 70s and 80s. She began writing in the 60s and sometimes illustrates her poems. She is concerned with observations and parallels between people and nature. A member of Country and City Women Writers, she has had poems published in many of their anthologies.
