BiographyHistory

Dương Xuân left Vietnam in 1978, escaping by boat to Indonesia where he lived in a refugee camp for seven months. He arrived in Australia at Christmas the same year. He lives in Sydney.

Dương is the author of several collections of poetry, a collection of short stories and a novella, and co-editor of an anthology of Vietnamese-Australian writing. He is also founder of Integration: The Magazine for Multicultural and Vietnamese Issues, which published between 1993 and 2003.
