'In this article, the author discusses cruelty against black women in South Australia for being Aboriginal. Topics include women from grandmother generation, who were the source of creative inspiration from many people; how artists of the grandmother generation survived racialised gendered violence and oppression and their innate creativity was barely released; and their efforts to continue campaigning for justice despite psychological impacts of past colonial policies.'
