The play 'deals with the succession to an English estate by one of two young men. These are the son and the adopted son of a relative of Sir Jasper Bromleigh, and there is uncertainty as to which is which. The old man has a scheme by which the real heir can be discovered, and the two young men are invited to Bromleigh Hall for the purpose. The scheme succeeds, proving that "blood is thicker than water".'

First produced as part of a collection of one-act plays (including Monday Morning, by George Landen Dann, and Wurzel Flummery, by A.A. Milne) by the Adelaide Repertory Theatre at the Australia, Angas street, Adelaide, on Wednesday 25 July 1934.
