"A conservative, middle-aged couple try to save a floundering marriage with a trip to a new-age relationship retreat awash in sexual liberation and — on at least one day of the week — extreme nudity. They decide to give their failing marriage one last shot before calling it quits.

Arriving in an idyllic sanctuary nestled in the mountains, they uncomfortably enter a world of laughter workshops, tantric dance, sexual liberation and emotional animals,
helmed by the charismatic guru Bjorg Rassmussen. When new temptations start to take hold, the couple are pushed to the brink forcing them to look within to find what they really want. But will they bare all to get it?

A delightfully bonkers comedy set on a fictitious island (one that, funnily enough, bares an uncanny resemblance to various parts of New Zealand’s South Island), and shot entirely in a made-up language, this is a universal story of love and miscommunication, misinterpretation and reconnection, reminding us that love laid bare, needs no translation."

'Rosehaven is a small (fictional) town in Tasmania, it is proper country, beyond the reach of tree changers. Daniel (Luke McGregor) is moving home to take over the family real-estate business while his domineering and frankly terrifying mother is incapacitated. Daniel’s best friend and perpetual teenager, Emma (Celia Pacquola), arrives at Daniel’s door, hiding out from a marriage that didn’t last the honeymoon. Daniel offers Emma a job and together they try and turn around a failing business coping with unreasonable landlords, stubborn tenants, sullen staff and never ending (sometimes quite intrusive) invitations to join the local mixed netball team. Created by and starring Luke McGregor and Celia Pacquola, Rosehaven will be a primetime series for ABC, shot entirely in regional Tasmania.' (Production summary)

'It's A Date is a comedy series exploring the trials and tribulations of the world of dating. The eight-part narrative comedy series features an extraordinary mix of Australia's most respected performers including Gold Logie award-winners Asher Keddie, Kate Ritchie, John Wood and Lisa McCune alongside stars of the stage and screen Stephen Curry, Sibylla Budd, Shane Jacobson, Sophie Lowe, Nadine Garner, Pia Miranda, Peter Helliar, Lawrence Mooney, Ian Smith, and from the UK, comedy superstar Ross Noble in a rare TV acting role. Alongside these seasoned performers are some of Australia's best emerging comedy talents including Jess Harris, Ronny Chieng, Kate McLennan, Luke McGregor and Nazeem Hussain.

'It's A Date explores the tension, expectation and complication of finding true love. Each episode thematically links two self-contained dates as they bravely head toward desire or disaster.

'Each new episode features a different cast tackling a different set of situations and addressing a new question

each week. Should you have sex on a first date? Does age matter? How accurate are first impressions? How important is honesty on a first date? These are just some of the questions and issues addressed in series one of It's A Date.' (Source: ABC 1 website)
