An Australian-made independent adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's short stories, particularly 'The Thing on the Doorstep' and 'The Dunwich Horror'.

Two university students studying esoteric religions and cults, Dan Upton and Edward Derby, begin to grow apart after Edward becomes involved with Asenath Waite, whose father Ephraim is a notorious dabbler in the black arts. As Asenath's control over Edward increases, so too do the mysterious murders in the neighbourhood. While local police officer LeGrasse suspects that the killer is not of this dimension, while Dan begins to suspect that Asenath is possessed by the spirit of her late father.
